Talks are set to be held involving a possible swap deal for Jadon Sancho, to bring an end to his Manchester United career.
Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United could engineer a swap deal which would see Donyell Malen head to Old Trafford.
Manchester United are desperate to get rid of Jadon Sancho, after he refused to apologise for hitting out at manager Erik ten Hag on social media.
He has been training alone for the past three months and has not played since August.

Sancho and Malen swap deal
German reporter Christian Falk writes via X that Manchester United could do a straight swap for Sancho and Malen.
He says: “There is a Meeting today at Dortmund for a Swap Deal Jadon Sancho (23) vs Donyell Malen (24): Dortmund demand from @ManUtd €30 Mio or Sancho for Malen.”
He does not say specifically whether these talks involve Manchester United, or whether it is simply Dortmund holding the discussion internally, or with agents.
Do Manchester United need Donyell Malen
Dortmund are a shrewd club, and when they are looking to get rid of a player, there is usually a reason why.
The former PSV Eindhoven forward has not lived up to his potential in Germany, having arrived at the club with high hopes.
This season he has scored five goals in 18 appearances, 11 of which were starts.
That’s not a great return, but it’s also a much bigger contribution than Sancho has offered Manchester United.
Malen scored nine goals for Dortmund last season, while the highlight of his career was the 19 goals he netted for PSV in 2019/20.
He is versatile, giving options with his ability to play up top or on either flank, but this does not necessarily provide the out and out striker solution Manchester United really need.
Malen began his career with Ajax, before joining Arsenal’s academy in 2015, then leaving in 2017 to join PSV.
