Manchester United continue to target talented youngsters and may even lure a ‘generational’ talent to Old Trafford.

The days of Manchester United handing out big deals to the likes of Raphael Varane and Casemiro are over.

Ineos now want to land younger talents who can bring value to United for years to come.

A look at United’s summer transfer business shows that Ineos have placed a real emphasis on young players.

United signed Malian teenager Sekou Kone, as well as snapping up Australian talent James Overy and Crystal Palace prospect Samuel Lusale.

Chido Obi-Martin arrived from Arsenal in an eye-catching move too with United placing a keen focus on prospects for the future.

Manchester United could sign ‘generational’ talent

Ineos surely aren’t done with this approach and one prospect appears to be a key target for 2025.

Rosenborg talent Sverre Nypan is a prominent name in United circles with the Norwegian a key target.

Reports in August suggested that United are keen to land Nypan – and the teenager is a United fan.

Arsenal are also keen on Nypan but United will hope to win the race over the Gunners.

The Daily Mail have now spoken to a unnamed Norwegian scout about Nypan, and their verdict was resounding.

The mystery scout branded Nypan a ‘generational’ talent and believes that a transfer is on the horizon in the next year.

“Nypan is a truly generational talent. If he continues to play like this, it’s very likely he’ll move within a year,” they said.

Sverre Nypan comments on Manchester United

Nypan couldn’t officially sign for United until he turns 18, which will be the case on December 19th of this year.

That could pave the way for United to strike a January deal for Nypan, whose domestic form with Rosenborg has been sensational.

Six goals and six assists in 22 league games is astonishing stuff for a 17-year-old and it’s no surprise that he is attracting United’s interest.

Nypan has previously admitted that a move to United would be a ‘dream come true’ and likened his style to that of Ander Herrera.

United simply cannot afford to let this move slip through the cracks and having missed out on so many top players over the years, it’s imperative that United attempt to make Nypan’s dream come true.
