Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri is now wanted by PSV Eindhoven and LA Galaxy as he attracts major interest.

United are waiting for Jadon Sancho to complete his move away to Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho is on the verge of a loan move back to Germany but the deal has dragged on a little having initially been expected to go through last week.

The move should still go through but United could now let another winger follow Sancho out of Old Trafford.

Reports last week indicated that United had told Facundo Pellistri that he would be allowed to leave the club and interest is now arriving…

Two clubs moving for Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri

Fabrizio Romano now reports that Dutch side PSV Eindhoven have made an approach to sign Pellistri.

PSV sit top of the Eredivisie table with 16 wins from 16 games this season, chasing an invincible, title-winning campaign.

Peter Bosz still wants more quality though and a loan move for Pellistri is now in the pipeline with Romano claiming that ‘negotiations are starting’.

PSV aren’t alone though as Romano claims that MLS side LA Galaxy are also keen on Pellistri – and want to sign him permanent.y

A transfer offer will come from LA Galaxy very soon, meaning United have plenty to think about over Pellistri’s future.

United would be wise to consider Pellistri buy-back

Pellistri has only managed 165 minutes of Premier League action this season and was only brought on for three minutes of normal time against Wigan Athletic on Monday night.

The Uruguayan is 22 now and is in danger of seeing his development stall if he doesn’t receive regular playing time.

A move to PSV is likely to be more appealing to Pellistri than heading to Major League Soccer right now but United could be attracted to a permanent sale.

Pellistri isn’t really knocking on the door for a starting role but United would surely consider a buy-back clause in any sale.

That is thought to be in mind for midfielder Hannibal Mejbri if he is sent to Sevilla this month, with United still seeing potential in the Tunisian international.  

United surely think similarly of Pellistri and would push for an option to bring him back in any permanent sale, but much will depend on whether the wide man fancies trying MLS or playing a part in a PSV title charge.
