Rasmus Hojlund has been warned to stay focused by his Atalanta manager amid transfer links to Manchester United.
Denmark forward Rasmus Hojlund enjoyed a dream international break as he netted his first goals for the Scandinavian country.
Hojlund struck a hat-trick in one game and a brace in another, with five goals in total. Danish outlet Tipsbladet had already reported Manchester United’s interest in his signature in February.
Last week the Manchester Evening News reported Hojlund is indeed on Manchester United’s summer list of striker transfer targets.

Hojlund warned
Hojlund returned to club action at the weekend as a substitute in Atalanta’s 3-1 win over Cremonese.
He provided an assist although did not score, and manager Gian Piero Gasperini is warning him to keep his feet on the ground.
Gasperini told TMW that Hojlund must keep focused, having seen signs that appear to have worried him.
He said: “I didn’t see him concentrated, perhaps he was still dazed by the many compliments he received during the week.
“He also had to be more attentive in the final in the defensive phase, he still lacks. He has very important qualities and he has demonstrated them, he is very young and he must not think that he has nothing more to learn.
“The stairs to improve are endless, he must not lose humility and mentality.”
Gasperini did praise Hojlund’s assist, adding: “He had sensational ideas and it showed in the goal he made Boga score, he had two or three valuable ideas, but did not give the same contribution of attention and concentration.”
Hojlund is only 20 and has had a big week, and so Gasperini’s comments are simply a case of good management. One assist in 30 minutes action is not a bad contribution.
Manchester United will be paying attention to the progress of the youngster who idolises Cristiano Ronaldo between now and the end of the season. A strong finish could make the difference.
Italian legend Marco Tardelli also praised him, adding via TMW: “He’s a very fast player, who boasts great qualities. Atalanta are never wrong.”
