According to The Athletic’s transfer deal sheet, two Premier League clubs have “made a check” for Zirkzee this summer.
United have made it clear that Zirkzee can leave, and if there is Premier League interest, there is a good chance for Ineos to recoup his £34m fee.
As highlighted by The Guardian, there is a shortage of strikers in the Premier League at the moment, which has hiked up the price of centre-forwards.
While Zirkzee is a self-acclaimed “9.5”, he has Premier League experience playing up front, and that could be enough to tempt sides like Everton, Brighton and Nottingham Forest who are all shopping for a striker this summer.

The harsh reality is that Zirkzee is not suited to Premier League football, so selling to a domestic rival shouldn’t concern United.
If Ineos are able to get a £30m+ transfer fee for the Dutch striker, they should take the deal and reinvest this summer.
United have striker targets on their radar. Michael Carrick ideally needs another centre-forward to support Benjamin Sesko up front.
