Robbie Ure is an intriguing option for Man Utd
The backup striker job is a unique profile, because anyone completely established won’t be happy to be a backup, and anyone not accomplished is of no use to Man Utd.
The club need someone who would be happy to stay behind Sesko in the pecking order, but would chomp at the bit to make an impact when he plays.
A 22-year-old Robbie Ure is not a bad shout for that spot, especially as he’s in the midst of a blinder of a season.
Ure is a Scottish player who plays for Swedish club Sirius, so his 15 goals in 14 games have come for a club not among the traditional heavyweights of Swedish football.

Standing at 6’2″, he can be a natural backup to Sesko’s playing style, although Ure is a bit more of a poacher compared to the Slovenian.
However, having a poacher behind Sesko might not be a bad idea, especially as Michael Carrick is building a more technical side that should create plenty of opportunities for the striker.
Ure is having his first true breakout season, so he won’t be very expensive either. He would be a risky bet as the first-choice striker, but as a backup, he makes perfect sense.

Ure is the perfect example of the same, as the interest in him will only increase if he manages to keep up this scoring rate.
Moving first and negotiating with his club right away will put United in a strong position, also turning the player’s head for the better.
United can do a lot worse than explore a move for Ure this summer.
