Porto are making extensive plans in case Manchester United swoop to sign goalkeeper Diogo Costa.
Diogo Costa has a £65 million release clause in his Porto contract. 90Min has previously reported that the Portuguese club’s financial issues could even cause them to accept a lower price.
Costa has recently been praised by Portugal teammate Diogo Dalot, as Manchester United look at alternative solutions in goal.
The Mirror report David de Gea could be set to leave the club when his contract expires, with Costa on the list of possible replacements.

Porto eye Diogo Costa replacements
Portuguese newspaper A Bola reports that Porto are taking steps to ensure they will not be caught short next season if they have to sell Diogo Costa.
The outlet claims Porto are casting their scouting net across the Atlantic, with a potential move eyed for New England Revolution goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic.
Another name on their list is claimed to be Colombian goalkeeper Kevin Mier, who plays for Atlético Nacional. He has a release clause for just £2 million.
Porto already have 31-year-old Claudio Ramos in their squad as a back-up, so can take a gamble on a young prospect.
Diogo Costa praised
Diogo Costa was in action for Portugal at the weekend in their 3-0 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He was praised by new Portugal boss Roberto Martinez, via Publico, who set out his preferred pecking order, commenting: “We need clarity, right now number one is Diogo Costa, number two is Rui Patrício and number three is José Sá. I like to be clear.”
