Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot has hinted he is looking to renew his contract at the club.
Diogo Dalot‘s current contract runs until June 2024. No agreement has been reached over an extension so far.
But in an interview with Mais Futebol, Dalot has declared United as his ‘future’, when discussing the club’s ambitions.
He is focused first and foremost on helping the Red Devils secure Champions League qualification.

Diogo Dalot wants Manchester United to finish the season strong. This is with it clear in his mind that this will improve his own prospects for next year.
He said: “It has been a positive season on an individual and collective level and I want to end it in the best possible way. It’s no secret that we want to finish in the top four and play in the Champions League next season.
“In addition, we have a Cup final ahead of us. I know there is little time left, but there is still a lot to play for and this is my future.”
It is these last four words, ‘this is my future’, where Dalot nails his colours to the mast. He is focused on Manchester United, and wants to stay.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s strong 2023 has thrown a spanner in the works for Dalot, to some degree, considering he ended 2022 as the undisputed first choice.
Both players offer something different, but Manchester United continue to be linked with new right-backs.
While Dalot’s contract remains unsigned, he might actually be the most vulnerable of the two.
