Manchester United are set to make an improved offer for midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

A new offer from Manchester United for Sofyan Amrabat is expected to land with Fiorentina shortly.

Italian outlet Viola News reports: “The Mancunian club intends to knock on Fiorentina’s door again for the Moroccan midfielder.

“According to what was collected by our editorial team – United will make a new attempt and present a new offer to the purple club, on the basis of a loan with the right to buy. Fiorentina for its part would like to include the automatic obligation upon reaching certain conditions.”

Amrabat only wants Manchester United

Sofyan Amrabat has made clear he only wants to sign with Manchester United, and has rejected rival offers.

This was repeated again tonight by Alfredo Pedulla, who insisted Amrabat will not consider signing with any other team while Manchester United are a possibility.

The midfielder played under United boss Erik ten Hag as a teenager at Utrecht, playing a total of 50 games.

Amrabat has not been included in Fiorentina’s recent squads, including their Europa Conference League qualifier last night, a 2-1 aggregate win over Rapid Vienna.

United are looking to sign Amrabat alongside other deals, with a loan move for Sergio Reguilon advanced.

Financial Fair Play has restricted Manchester United’s spending power over the past month.

Savage called for Amrabat deal

Speaking to Teamtalk earlier this week, Robbie Savage urged Manchester United to do a deal for the midfielder.

He said: “Amrabat has been linked. I watched him in in the Europa Conference League final, he’s a very very good player, was unbelievable in the World Cup, from that deep midfield role.

“He can get on the ball, he can dictate he can he can pop passes, he can switch play, can pass forward. Next to Casemiro, he would be fantastic.”
