Marcus Rashford could very well be on the move for Manchester United in the January transfer window.
Several clubs have expressed interest in Marcus Rashford, but AC Milan appear to be leading the race to sign the Manchester United and England forward.
Rashford’s agent has reportedly been in Italy, with Juventus and Napoli also monitoring the situation closely.
If Rashford were to leave Old Trafford, Milan could be an ideal destination. The club has a strong track record of working with former United players, and Rashford would be welcomed in Italy by a familiar face – Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Milan’s Senior Advisor to Ownership – Ibrahimovic, is eager to bring Rashford to Italy, and past comments from the United academy graduate suggest he would be more than happy to reunite with the Swede.

Speaking in a post-match press conference with MUTV in 2016, Rashford spoke about the arrival of Ibrahimovic to Manchester United.
Rashford said: “There’s a possibility that we can all learn from him whilst he’s here [at United]. So, we all need to take the chance whilst he’s here.”
He was then asked how much of an impact the iconic Swede may have on him at the club, and his answer indicates that Rashford sees the 6’5 powerhouse as a role model to learn from and emulate to further develop his own game.
“It’s a massive help,” he continues. “Being with him day in and day out, it’s helping me see what he’s like overall, not just on the pitch.
“There’s a lot to learn from him and hopefully, I can bring some of what he does into my own game.”
Rashford also lauded Ibra to The Telegraph a year later.
“You will see the benefits in years to come,” he said. “What I have learnt from him is irreplaceable.”

The feeling is mutual between the pair, with Ibrahimovic a fan of Marcus almost from day one at Old Trafford.
“He is 18 years old, very young. He has a long time ahead of him. I think the way you have to approach players is that everyone is talking about talent and he will be able to reach his potential. He has a lot of time ahead of him.
“He is not in a hurry, but in the future, he will take the world of football in his hands.”
“We know the qualities and what he can do. The world is seeing him now and give him time, he will take matters into his own hands. This is simply a matter of patience”, declared Ibra in a post-match interview for United back in 2016.
If his words weren’t loud enough, maybe his actions are. Here is Ibrahimovic on his United debut looking very impressed when Rashford won a penalty against Galatasaray after a mazy dribble and blistering speed.
Whether the pair end up back together in Milan still remains to be seen, but as every day passes, it looks increasingly more likely that Rashford won’t be a Manchester United player for much longer.
