Alejandro Garnacho is the subject of transfer interest.
The 20-year-old is considered one of Manchester United’s star players, but there has been speculation over Alejandro Garnacho’s future ever since Ruben Amorim dropped him for the Manchester derby last month.
Marcus Rashford found himself in the same situation. The difference is Garnacho has worked his way back into the team after starting in United’s win over Arsenal in the FA Cup third round.
After registering an assist for Bruno Fernandes’ opener against Arsenal, Garnacho will be looking to keep his place in the team when United take on Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Napoli are trying to test the water with a deal for the young forward.

Manchester United set asking price for Alejandro Garnacho
Reports suggest Napoli submitted a €45m bid for Garnacho, but they’ve yet to meet United’s price demands.
Napoli are in the market for a new forward because they’re set to lose star player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain, with L’Equipe suggesting a transfer fee in excess of €70m will be paid for the Georgian’s services.
Napoli manager Antonio Conte revealed on Saturday that Kvaratskhelia has asked to leave the club immediately, prior to advanced talks with PSG.
The Serie A outfit thought they could pull the wool over United’s eyes with a lowball offer for Garnacho.
However, Ben Jacobs has since reported that United are looking for at least €70m for Garnacho’s signature.
Garnacho has a high ceiling and could become one of the best forwards in the game, which is why United are right to set a high asking price.
Alejandro Garnacho value could rise
Garnacho, 20, has plenty of time to develop his game and that would see his price tag rise.
United won’t accept any low offers for this reason because Garnacho has the potential to reach the very top.

Napoli are under pressure to find a replacement for Kvaratskhelia and United fans would be disappointed if they were to lose Garnacho.
It wouldn’t be a popular decision from Ineos, who claim to be prioritising young players as they look to build the United first-team for the future.
