Manchester United and Manchester City expect to see player swap between the clubs in the coming weeks.

Fabrizio Romano reported this week that Manchester City are set to sign Manchester United youngster Harrison Parker.

The England youth international had only been at United for around 18 months, having joined from Arsenal’s academy in 2021.

The MEN report United are viewing this as a revenge poaching, with the Red Devils hoping to wrap up a double raid on City.

Fletcher twins expected to sign

Manchester United were linked last month with a move for Manchester City talents Jack and Tyler Fletcher.

David Ornstein of The Athletic reported Manchester United hoped to sign the duo, who are the sons of Red Devils technical director Darren Fletcher.

Now The MEN report Manchester United aim to clinch the signing of the pair by the end of July.

They were in the City academy before Darren Fletcher was appointed at Manchester United, and the pair are now expected to make the switch.

Harrison Parker’s move to City is regarded as a little bit of payback on City’s part, realising they are set to lose two talents.

Who are Jack and Tyler Fletcher

The pair turned 16 in March and were born in Manchester, representing England at youth level, before more recently switching to Scotland.

The pair are both central midfielders, with The Athletic reporting they ‘have been part of an era of age-group dominance for City’.

The MEN claim both players are regulars in the director’s box for Manchester United home games.
