Manchester United boast some incredible teenage talents right now, but Ineos are always looking to add to this growing list.

Despite having a treble-winning U18 side, the summer saw Ineos add to the academy options with Chido Obi-Martin being the marquee arrival.

The Danish striker is only 16 years old and yet arrives with a lot of fanfare due to Obi-Martin’s magnificent goal-scoring record for Arsenal.

The newest academy recruit instantly became one of Manchester United’s most talented youth players.

Having now made his debut for the U18s this past weekend, we fully expect he will be very quickly among the goals for Adam Lawrence’s side.

But now, there is another potential world-beating teenager who United are looking to acquire

Manchester United looking at a deal for Geovany Quenda

With so many young wonderkids in the club right now, it would take a superstar to come in and improve the options available to either Lawrence, Travis Binnion or even Erik ten Hag.

This comes in the form of 17-year-old Geovany Quenda who is currently cutting his teeth at Sporting Lisbon and is enjoying a breakout year.

Manchester United are reported by A Bola to have been exploring a deal to sign the Portuguese wonderkid.

Quenda has been dubbed as being ‘one of the most promising players of his generation’ – which could see United make a swoop at Sporting Lisbon similar to how the club did in 2003.

This being Cristiano Ronaldo, with United signing him back when was also seen as a potentially generational talent – with this move sharing traits as the players also boast some similarities.

What to expect from Sporting Lisbon youngster Quenda

Quenda has already been called up into the senior Portugal side – admitting he felt embarrassed meeting Ronaldo during the September international break.

As a player though, we are sure Ronaldo will see parts of his game from his early years, in the performances of Quenda.

Both are wingers and Quenda has the young Ronaldo trait of dribbling and taking on his defenders with skill, pace and agility.

Quenda is very effective for his age which makes it terrifying for defenders across Europe that he is just 17.

Being a left-footed right-winger means Quenda would have a route to senior football should United sign him, with Antony likely to depart and also Amad Diallo sinking into the background once again.

Quenda and Alejandro Garnacho could be an immense wing partnership for years to come if Ineos manage to pull it off.
