Manchester United are in the market for a new striker this summer, but have already suffered a major blow.
Matheus Cunha is joining Manchester United from Wolverhampton Wanderers, which provides a major boost to Ruben Amorim’s attack.
The recruitment in the final third cannot stop there and United must find another centre forward.
Rasmus Hojlund only managed four Premier League goals this past season, and Joshua Zirkzee looked more impressive as a number 10.
United are keen to find at least one new striker and Liam Delap had been a top target following Ipswich Town’s relegation.
Delap is signing for Chelsea instead, leaving United to consider other strikers to lead Amorim’s attack.

Manchester United linked with Aleksandar Mitrovic
Delap seemed ideal for United’s situation in that he has already shown Premier League quality, still has major potential for the future, and wouldn’t have broken the bank thanks to a £30million release clause.
United need to find other strikers in that price bracket, which isn’t exactly easy.
TalkSPORT now claim that United are considering a move to sign Al-Hilal striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Al-Hilal are allegedly willing to loan Mitrovic or sell him for £40million but don’t want to let him go without a replacement before the Club World Cup.
Everton and West Ham United are also monitoring Mitrovic, who quit Fulham to join Al-Hilal in 2023.
Mitrovic has scored 68 goals in 79 games for Al-Hilal, but it’s his record in England that will mean more to United fans.
The Serbian scored 14 goals in 24 games during his last Premier League campaign, proving that he is much more than a Championship-level goal machine.
Now 30, the burly striker would give United a focal point in attack but fans will certainly fear an impact on Bruno Fernandes during talks.

Al-Hilal want Bruno Fernandes
United captain Bruno Fernandes is wanted by Al-Hilal, meaning links to Mitrovic come at a fascinating time.
The Saudi Arabian side are making a push to sign Bruno after United lost the Europa League final and missed out on Champions League qualification.
Bruno has much to ponder and United’s interest in Mitrovic may be very difficult given Al-Hilal’s pursuit of the playmaker.
If United don’t allow Bruno to leave, Al-Hilal may well be reluctant to allow Mitrovic to make a move to Manchester.
Most United fans would almost certainly rather keep Bruno than sign Mitrovic if it came down to a choice, but the situation surrounding the skipper just complicates any potential talks.
Mitrovic would be a decent stop-gap in United’s attack, but not at the expense of losing Bruno this summer.
