Manchester United have now added Fisayo Dele-Bashiru to the list of midfield options to arrive this summer as part of the overhaul. Here is everything you need to know about the Lazio star.
With Manchester United’s £250m transfer budget this summer, it is expected to be a very busy window for the Red Devils.
United have already spent £34.5m on Ederson, with another midfielder or two expected to follow the Brazilian through the Carrington doors.
Now, United have been linked with a move for Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru linked with Manchester United
Sky Sports has reported that the Lazio midfielder is now on United’s transfer wishlist this summer.
While not seen as a top option, Dele-Bashiru is a name the club could look at should other deals not materialise.
The report adds that sources close to the player insist that he would be keen on a move to the Premier League and therefore also United should it present itself.
The Lazio midfielder would be a strange signing and should be nowhere near a starter. But likely for less than £10m he could be a good fourth or fifth choice.

Who is Dele-Bashiru?
This link is surprising. Dele-Bashiru is 25 years old and hasn’t exactly been playing at a level that would indicate he is ready to make a jump to United.
He was born in Lagos, Nigeria and actually played in the Manchester City academy. Despite this, Dele-Bashiru previously admitted supporting United, which explains his interest.
Going right through the levels until he played for their U23 side and then moved to Sheffield Wednesday in 2020.
Dele-Bashiru remained here for three seasons before moving to Hatayspor in Turkey and is now currently at Lazio.
In the 2025/26 campaign he only managed 1,182 minutes for Lazio which is another red flag against his name.
Meanwhile, performance-wise, very little stands out from his game besides being in the 97th percentile for passing with a 92% completion rate.
