Victor Osimhen is high on Manchester United’s list of summer transfer targets with the club paying attention to his super performances for Napoli.
ESPN report United are keen on the Serie A top scorer, and if they have been watching him, then Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will have caught the club’s eye too.
While it is not expected that United move for the winger, the Georgian’s incredible season is one that all top clubs will be sitting up and taking notice of.
The winger has scored 13 goals and provided 13 assists, with the New York Times this week labelling him a ‘transcendent talent’.

Kvaratskhelia ‘the new George Best’
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored a wondergoal at the weekend in Napoli’s win over Atalanta and is in action in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Former Italy striker Christian Vieri has paid the winger the ultimate compliment – by labelling him the new George Best.
Notably, he says this moniker can only truly be given to Kvaratskhelia if he signs for Manchester United.
Vieri was quoted by Calcio Napoli: “The goal from Kvaratskhelia is worthy of Maradona. The goal he scored is a crazy stuff!
“If he goes to Manchester United, George Best’s times come back, Kvaratskhelia is the same. I can’t wait for Wednesday to see Napoli play.”
You have to be some player to invoke comparisons to both George Best and Diego Maradona.

Could Manchester United sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia?
If a takeover goes through, then sure, Manchester United may be able to afford him. However, Napoli will be desperate to hold onto the winger.
Victor Osimhen in the most likely of the pair to leave this summer, and once one goes, Napoli will be even more determined to keep the second of their attacking stars.
Napoli paid just £10 million to sign Kvaratskhelia in the summer from Dinamo Batumi, and 90min reported that he is now valued at £100 million.
Still only 22, Kvaratskhelia surely does have a big move in his future. It just might not be next summer.
