Manchester United talent Jack Moorhouse will be playing in League One next season after agreeing to leave Old Trafford temporarily.

The transfer window is typically a busy period for several reasons. Manchester United use this period to sign, sell and loan out players.

That requires a lot of hard work and networking, with key club figures such as Jason Wilcox and Matt Hargreaves taking extra responsibility.

United are always willing to send players out on loan to EFL clubs in a bid to help their youngsters gain experience at the senior level.

Dan Gore has been sent to Rotherham United once again and Gabriele Biancheri is open to a loan exit. Meanwhile, Lausanne-Sport are reportedly interested in taking Sekou Kone on loan.

Another deal that took place this summer saw Sonny Aljofree join Notts County on a season-long loan.

The next player to join them is Jack Moorhouse, following a loan move to League One.

Jack Moorhouse joins Leyton Orient on loan

It has been decided that Moorhouse will spend next season on loan at Leyton Orient.

Moorhouse is renowned as one of the most promising midfielders in the youth ranks. Now, he gets a chance to prove himself in League One and United will be keen for him to earn regular minutes before returning to Carrington next summer.

Leyton Orient will be eager to gain promotion after losing in the League One play-off final last term.

United will be closely monitoring Moorhouse’s development over the course of the season.

Ethan Wheatley is also expected to go out on loan this summer.

Moorhouse signs new deal at Manchester United

Along with Moorhouse’s loan move to Leyton Orient, it was announced that he had put pen to paper over a new deal at United.

The youngster is leaving to push on his development but he has a future at United on his mind.

Moorhouse is aiming high, and everyone would like to see his loan at Leyton Orient become a success.

Only time will tell if Moorhouse will get the chance to impress Ruben Amorim on tour next year, after missing out on a place in the squad this summer.
