Southampton will be trying to fight off interest in Tyler Dibling this summer.

Ineos have made it clear they intend to bring the best youngsters to Manchester United and fans are likely to see more examples of that in 2025, with Diego Leon set to join next summer.

Last summer, United welcomed young talents to the club such as Leny Yoro, Chido Obi and Sekou Kone. To best way to build for the future is to sign the best young players in the world, which is what Sir Jim Ratcliffe is trying to do, with Ruben Amorim in the hot seat.

Amorim is lucky to have United’s academy behind him – producing players for the first-team like Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo.

It might be a struggle on the pitch now, but not in the future if United plan in a constructive manner.

Ivan Juric advises Tyler Dibling on his future

One of the names on United’s radar is Premier League starlet Tyler Dibling.

Southampton could accept £21m for Dibling and it is understood that United have scouted the winger on multiple occasions.

Now, newly appointed Southampton manager Ivan Juric broke his silence over Dibling rumours, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News.

“I think what is best for him is to play for Southampton and keep growing up,” Juric told reporters when asked about Dibling’s future. “He is still young and he has to concentrate only on training well and playing games. Nothing else.”

Southampton take on Brentford this afternoon and Dibling is expected to start for Juric’s side.

Every player has a price but the Saints will be trying to keep hold of their best players if they can avoid relegation.

At the age of 18, Dibling has made 21 appearances for the first-team this season and looks like a talent for the future.

To reach the highest level, though, more goals and assists will be expected.

That explains why United are beginning to consider a swoop for the youngster.

The interest in Dibling will only grow if he can continue to perform in the top flight, albeit in a side struggling at the bottom of the table.
