Mason Greenwood could be on the move again this summer.
It has been a year since Marseille signed Mason Greenwood from Manchester United in a deal worth up to £26.6m.
Greenwood signed a five-year deal at Marseille before scoring 22 goals in his debut season.
To make matters even better for Greenwood, Angel Gomes joined Marseille this summer to form a reunion with the striker, but it remains to be seen if they will remain teammates when the 2025/26 Ligue 1 season begins.
The former United forward has been the subject of speculation, and there is still a possibility that he will leave Marseille before the transfer window shuts.
Now, there is reported interest from Italy, where Greenwood was previously linked with a move to Lazio. Furthermore, former England manager Fabio Capello even urged Juventus to secure his signature.

Inter Milan consider move for Mason Greenwood
Inter Milan will keep a close eye on Greenwood as Cristian Chivu attempts to bolster his attacking options ahead of the new season.
The Nerazzurri are trying to sign Lookman from Atalanta, who, thus far, seems reluctant to sell to a direct rival.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter won’t give up on Lookman just yet, but they have started listing alternative options. Among the shortlist were RB Leipzig’s Lois Openda and Greenwood.
Inter’s current attacking options include Sebastiano Esposito, Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram and Mehdi Taremi.
Although United are occupied with their attempts to sign a striker, Ineos have plenty of reason to monitor Greenwood’s situation as they would benefit from him leaving Marseille.
Man Utd would hit jackpot with Greenwood transfer
United pulled off a masterstroke when they sold Greenwood to Marseille.
Everyone had accepted the fact Greenwood would never play for United again before Ineos managed to sell him for £26.6m, along with a sell-on clause.
Greenwood previously announced plans to stay at Marseille, but every player has a price and there’s a chance United could make more money from sell-on clauses this year.
United have received £25.6m from sell-on clauses this summer alone.
- Anthony Elanga to Newcastle – United received £6m
- Alvaro Fernandez to Real Madrid – United received £7.6m
- Maxi Oyedele to Strasbourg – United received £2m
It remains to be seen if Greenwood will leave Marseille this summer, but his value could rise again after another season in France.
Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Nassr were recently informed that Greenwood was not for sale, but they could still tempt the French side with a big offer.
