Manchester United winger Anthony Elanga was reportedly subject of a bid from Everton, however the Swede has rejected a move to Merseyside.
The 21-year-old attacker had a breakthrough year in the 2021-22 season, however failed to build upon it in 2022-23.
His first team opportunities were limited under Erik ten Hag who favoured the involvement of Alejandro Garnacho and Facundo Pellistri.
Elanga made 26 appearances for United last season in all competitions however he started only five in the Premier League as he fell down the packing order.
Effectively being sixth choice in the flanks across both, Elanga looked keen to instead find a new club at which to continue development.

Elanga rejects Everton
Wherever he ends up this summer, it won’t be Everton as Elanga ruled out a move to Goodison Park.
It was reported last week that the Swedish international had been the target of a £15million-£20m bid from Sean Dyche’s side.
However, he has turned down the move following direct talks with the club due to concerns over his suitability to Dyche’s notorious tactics according to the Mail Online.

Elanga has now travelled to America with the United squad on their tour of the USA with his future in the balance.
Forest interest
Despite the collapse of the Everton deal, Elanga has plenty of suitors with one club potentially in ‘discussions’ for the forward.
Nottinghamshire Live report that Nottingham Forest are interested in Elanga and the Everton rejection is a most for them.
Working under Steve Cooper would be worlds away from a potential Dyche transfer and should tick that box for Elanga.
There could be legs in this story, especially with Forest braced for potential bids aimed at Brennan Johnson.
