Stiller could bring control to Manchester United’s midfield and also tenacity in his running and pressing. While not Premier League proven, he has all the qualities needed to shine in the competition.
For the price quoted, potentially to replace Manuel Ugarte, there can be no complaints.
Christos Mouzakitis
If any addition is made, it looks certain to be a midfielder, with this being the biggest weak point in the squad right now, and Christos Mouzakitis has been linked.
Interest in the Greek superkid is thought to be substantial, and as a result, United have even reportedly made a bid for Mouzakitis worth £25m.

Ederson
A third potential midfield addition is one that we would be least excited to see, but nevertheless it would be an upgrade on the current options.
Atalanta’s Ederson has been linked with United for multiple transfer windows, and this January will be no different. Reports in Brazil have claimed that United are preparing to open talks for Ederson on a cut-price deal.
It has also been claimed that United believe Ederson will make Bruno Fernandes even better.
Conor Gallagher
The current most likely midfield addition this summer is Conor Gallagher, with the Atletico Madrid star linked often over the course of this season to date.
Gallagher is supposedly happy in Madrid, but links have been strong and he would bring Premier League proven quality to the side.
It has been claimed that Gallagher would be open to joining United, and while far from the perfect addition, he could be a quick fix to last the rest of this season.

Ruben Neves
With a midfielder on the agenda, the best value option in January would be to sign Ruben Neves from Al-Hilal.
The Portuguese midfielder is Premier League proven, and with a contract due to expire in June, Neves is available for just £18m, which would be a strong deal for United to bolster the midfield.
Neves could do a job in either midfield role for Amorim’s system and would likely be happy playing from the bench at times. It would be a great signing, potentially alongside another more youthful midfielder.
