Manchester United are serious about a move for Antoine Semenyo, the latest update reveals.
Antoine Semenyo is a major transfer target for Manchester United, and he is expected to be available in January.
Semenyo has a £65 million release clause in his contract, which is valid in the early part of the transfer window, with the exact details unspecified.

Fabrizio Romano stated in his latest video that the clause is valid until around the 10th of January, but could not be totally exact.
Semenyo has been in outstanding form this season for Bournemouth, and scored in a dramatic 4-4 draw at Old Trafford this past week.
He was already on Ruben Amorim‘s wishlist, and he certainly caught his attention with his impressively taken goal.

Manchester United’s call
Fabrizio Romano reports ‘a January move is expected to happen’ for Semenyo, with multiple clubs interested.
He claims that this week, United and City both made calls to express interest in the Bournemouth winger.
“The two clubs from Manchester, Man Utd and Man City both called for Antoine Semenyo.”
He adds that Liverpool’s last enquiry was in November, and while there is interest from Tottenham, it is not as advanced as the Manchester clubs.
Romano adds: “United are in the race, eventually to have Semenyo play in different positions.
“He can play in the current system for Ruben Amorim, or eventually they can change the system and Semenyo could be an important player with a different tactical approach.”
Romano’s comments speak to how United view Semenyo, as a unique market opportunity who will be a strong long-term investment.
That would mean that even if the head coach was to change, United would expect Semenyo to have a key role due to his tactical versatility.

United’s interest in Semenyo dates back
United were interested in Antoine Semenyo back in the summer, but he renewed his contract with Bournemouth and the Red Devils had prioritised moves for Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
This season has so far emphasised that United still need extra attacking cover, and certainly will with European football next season.
Also, Semenyo can play at left wing-back, and operate in a similar way to how Amad does on the right side.
United had high hopes for Patrick Dorgu, but it is clear he is still a long-term project, with Amorim recently critical of his performances.
Semenyo is at a different level, and if United can win the race for his signature, then it could have a major difference in achieving a top four place this season.
