Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has set an absolutely ridiculous price tag for Harry Kane amid Manchester United interest.
Harry Kane is one of the best forwards in world football. He is one of Erik ten Hag‘s top targets this summer and could follow in the footsteps of some of United’s greatest-ever strikers if the deal was done.
However, with such a talent, he won’t be cheap. The forward was initially thought to cost around the £100m mark.
Now a shocking evaluation from Daniel Levy has been reported, which was much more than initially thought.

Daniel Levy wants £200m for Harry Kane
Daniel Levy wants a mind-boggling £200m for Harry Kane.
The Independent say the Tottenham chief wants £200m for his talisman, despite the forward entering the last year of his contract.
Kane is a top, top forward – but surely this is too much even for a player of his calibre.
The England captain is 29 years of age, meaning he’s in his prime but slowly entering that stage of his career where he will soon decline.
To add to this, he also has one year on his contract, meaning if Spurs were to keep hold of him he could leave for absolutely nothing.
Levy is notorious for playing hardball in deals for players. Kane has single-handedly carried the North London club this season, so maybe in his head, the evaluation is actually fair. From an outsider’s perspective, it certainly is not.
Amid the United interest, it has also recently been reported that Real Madrid have entered the race for the talisman. Madrid are known to be ruthless in the market, spending whatever is necessary to get their man.
However, we think £200m is even too much for them. It’ll be interesting to see what club Kane does eventually begin with next season.
