Atalanta are now preparing for the new era under Maurizio Sarri, with TMW describing the week ahead as ‘exciting times’ for the club.
Palladino’s exit and Sarri’s appointment will be confirmed, and then the squad building under the new coach will begin.
This managerial change could slightly delay Ederson’s exit – but his departure is tipped to be imminent.
The report states: “begin. The week that begins today will therefore be dedicated to the coaches, not the players on the market: priority will be given to the coach, then the real negotiations will begin.
“Ederson will be the first to say goodbye, then it will be time to begin the round of new signings.”
With only one year remaining on his contract, Atalanta have accepted Ederson will leave the club.

Over the weekend, Fabrizio Romano alluded to the upcoming changes at Atalanta holding up the deal.
“It’s done on the player’s side and is waiting for the final touches, but again, Atalanta have new people in charge now.
“United hope to close the deal at around €40-45m. They are working on these final touches, and Ederson will be a Man Utd player unless something crazy happens.”
A final transfer fee is not yet agreed – but it is also not in Atalanta’s interest to hold up the negotiation by haggling over price.
The longer they waste negotiating with Manchester United, the longer they delay making their own signings.
