Semenyo’s £65 million release clause is extremely tempting to clubs, and Manchester United are willing to strike a deal.

Ruben Amorim has declared interest in Antoine Semenyo

Speaking before Antoine Semenyo scored against Manchester United in a dramatic 4-4 draw at Old Trafford, Ruben Amorim expressed his admiration for the player.

Amorim said: “They [have a] top manager, a top team, I really like the team and the top player I think is a special player.”

Semenyo has struck eight goals in 16 games for Bournemouth this season, also providing three assists.

His versatility will provide a real threat on the left side of the pitch to match the dynamism Amad brings on the right.

United desperately need to sign a central midfielder too, but the Semenyo situation appears to be taking priority.
