Declan Rice is set to leave West Ham United this summer, chairman David Sullivan has stated.
Rice will have had a fairytale ending at the Hammers, emerging victorious in the Europa Conference League final and winning the London club’s first bit of silverware since 1980.
The £100m valued midfielder is one of the Premier League‘s hottest prospects and has sparked interest from many top clubs, including Manchester United who also appear interested.
It’s going to be a frantic race to sign him after his departure was confirmed, but best believe the Red Devils will be among those watching the situation very closely.

Declan Rice set to leave West Ham United
In an interview with Talksport, Hammers chairman David Sullivan confirmed that Declan Rice has played his last game in claret and blue.
When asked whether the victory over Fiorentina was Rice’s last match in a West Ham shirt, Sullivan told Talksport: “I think it has to be.
“We promised him he could go. He set his heart on going. You can’t ask for a man who has committed more to us this season.
“In due course, he has to get on and we have to get a replacement – or several replacements. It’s not something we want to happen. We offered him £200,000 a week 18 months ago. He turned it down.
“It’s cost him £10 million to stay at West Ham in that time (in lost wages). And he wants to go. You can’t keep a player who doesn’t want to be there.”
Very interesting and could throw a spanner in the works over United’s potential summer spending plans.
The Mail Online recently confirmed that United are ‘in the race’ for Rice alongside Arsenal and Chelsea.
The England international is also said to be best friends with Mason Mount, who has also been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford – which could sway a deal.
One thing is for certain, Rice is on the move. Who will acquire his signature?
