Iconic former AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf has now revealed the standout difference between Ryan Giggs and another Manchester United legend at Old Trafford.
Ryan Giggs is widely considered one of the best Premier League players of all time after his remarkable longevity at playing at the top level of football in his career.
A famed member of Manchester United’s ‘Class of ’92,’ Giggs spent the majority of his remarkable playing career at Old Trafford under ex-manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
The 52-year-old Welshman, who broke into the United first team during the 1990s, was a key part of all 13 of the Red Devils’ Premier League title-winning sides.

Clarence Seedorf tells Rio Ferdinand why Man Utd icon Ryan Giggs was different to Cristiano Ronaldo
Clarence Seedorf linked up with Rio Ferdinand for the Manchester United legend’s podcast and recalled how Brazil legend Ronaldo did not show all his skills outside of training.
“Did they do all those things that you would see in training in the match? Difficult. Maybe you think about it,” he said on Rio Ferdinand Presents.
Responding to Seedorf, Rio Ferdinand touched on a noticeable difference between Michael Owen and Ryan Giggs inside training and outside of it on the pitch as well.
“They did them, man,” he said.
“Michael Owen is probably the only one I didn’t see do what he [did] in a lot of games in training. But, like, ‘Giggsy’ would do most sort[s] of stuff that he would do in training in a match.”
Seedorf reacted to Ferdinand’s remarks around Giggs by suggesting that the United icon’s showboating of skills was much different to what Cristiano Ronaldo did.
“But ‘Giggsy’ was also very [much] to the point,” he said.
“So, the skill he would use, and I’m sure ‘Giggsy’ could do more than what… yeah, he [Ronaldo] was exaggerating.
“He did the opposite. Exaggerated in the matches [at] the beginning of his career. And then he started to become more efficient.”

Clarence Seedorf pinpoints how Cristiano Ronaldo’s showboating of skills at Man Utd changed as he matured
Seedorf crossed paths with Cristiano Ronaldo during the legendary former Man Utd player’s prolific first playing spell at Old Trafford under Sir Alex Ferguson.
The 50-year-old Dutchman said that Ronaldo’s “intelligence” started to shine through when the Red Devils legend managed his use of skill moves more effectively.
“And then he stopped doing the things that were great skills, but not so useful,” he told Rio Ferdinand.
“I think Cristiano is actually a great example. That is an example of intelligence as well, because he was also super young when he started doing all of that.
“But then he said, ‘Okay, if I’m just getting in the box at the right time, I’m left and right, I can shoot.’
“So less was more. And that’s what I mean. Of course, a lot of skills are needed in matches, but the full package, we don’t need the full package to be what he became at the end on the pitch.”
Ronaldo lifted three Premier League titles, a Champions League trophy, an FA Cup and two League Cups with United before he moved to Real Madrid in 2009.
