Manchester United are the most in-form team in the Premier League right now.
Yes, you read that right. Following the victory against Luton, Erik ten Hag‘s men have now won four games in five in the Premier League.
This is more than any other side in England’s top flight, which is remarkable given the sheer amount of scrutiny given to the manager, the first-team squad and individual players.
Two players that have come under heavy scrutiny have to be Mason Mount and Antony, but we believe they showed glimmers of hope in their cameos against Luton at Old Trafford.

Mason Mount vs Luton
Mount was the first to enter the frame on the stroke of 40 minutes, following an injury to Christian Eriksen.
The former Chelsea man had an excellent game after coming on. His best moment was definitely a nicely weighted pass to Marcus Rashford which led to Victor Lindelof‘s winning goal.
Mount was also defensively astute, linked up play nicely and looked a lot more like the player Ten Hag splashed £60m on.
Antony vs Luton
This man seriously needed a good performance and credit where credit is due, he had a superb 22 minutes on the pitch.
The Brazilian should have had an assist. After some good dribbling, his left-footed pass found Rashford inside the box, who fired straight at the Luton goalkeeper.
Antony also worked tirelessly from the front and did look like a dangerous asset when he was bearing down on the Hatters’ defence.
Does it justify the £82m spent on him? Absolutely not. Is it a step in the right direction? Of course.
Do Mason Mount and Antony have a future at Manchester United?
Is there still hope for these two?
They’re both certainly not going anywhere, so we need to persist with Mount and Antony.
Despite rumours Antony will be heading to Brazil in a swap deal from The Mirror last weekend, Fabrizio Romano and the Brazilian club have made it clear that the 23-year-old is staying put.
As for Mount, there haven’t been necessarily rumours of him leaving Old Trafford, but it’s mightily strange his absence from the starting XI considering he was Ten Hag’s number one midfield target in the summer.
This cameo for each player against Luton will instate confidence heading into the rest of the season.
We’re sincerely rooting for these two. The hefty price tags the gaffer paid for each shows the undeniable talent – now we just need to see it on the pitch.
