Ruben Amorim has now shown his true character to Manchester United fans with the way that he has handled an important feat that he has finally pulled off.
The 40-year-old Manchester United manager has endured a season of highs and lows since the start of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign at Old Trafford.
United produced a mixed set of results in the opening weeks of the campaign and the Red Devils also crashed out of the Carabao Cup at the hands of Grimsby Town.
However, the Red Devils have finally managed to find some footing under Ruben Amorim in the 2025-26 after a turnaround in form in the Premier League in October.
United beat Sunderland 2-0 in the Premier League at Old Trafford before the international break, with the Red Devils following it up with a win against Liverpool.
Following United’s 2-1 result over Liverpool in the Premier League clash at Anfield, the Red Devils picked up their third consecutive win against Brighton at home.

Ruben Amorim is named the Premier League Manager of the Month for the first time at Man Utd
Manchester United’s wins over Sunderland and Liverpool were the first time that the Red Devils had won back-to-back Premier League matches under Ruben Amorim.
The Red Devils have only lost once in their last five Premier League matches, with United’s three-match winning streak coming to an end last Saturday at City Ground.
Nottingham Forest hosted United in the Premier League and the Red Devils blew a 1-0 lead before coming back to draw 2-2, with Amorim’s men rescuing a point.
The Premier League’s official social media channels on Friday revealed that United manager Amorim had scooped the Manager of the Month award for October.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe gave Ruben Amorim his support
“My feeling is that life can change really fast,” he told TNT Sports.
“We changed in the last four weeks in our team. The second thing is, this is not my award, it’s a team award, because they [the players] are the ones that play the game and they did a very good job.”

Ruben Amorim’s elite mentality as Man Utd manager shines in his post-Premier League Manager of the Month win
All eyes are on Amorim now and whether or not the Red Devils can maintain their momentum after United’s minor setback against Nottingham Forest last weekend.
However, Amorim faces no easy task in getting United back to winning ways, with the Red Devils coming up with a tough test against Tottenham on Saturday.
However, the former Sporting CP head coach pointed out the “most important thing” that he took away from his Premier League Manager of the Month award win.
“They are working really hard, of course, we have had some bad days during this season, but we are working really hard to overcome all the situations that we had last year, and still in this beginning of the season,” Amorim continued.
“And the final thing, and the most important thing, is that this is from last month, so it doesn’t matter.
“In football, we just need to win this one in the next month because it means that we are winning games.”
The fact that Amorim is already looking forward rather than enjoying his moment from October speaks volumes about his mentality as an elite coach in football.
