Three defeats have come so far this season, with just one victory, and also only a handful of goals despite the hype around United’s new £200m front-line.
Bryan Mbeumo has been the shining light with two goals already this season, while Matheus Cunha has yet to contribute despite some glowing performances.
Benjamin Sesko has had a slower start, with limited appearances and struggles due to a lack of service. However, this could be amended by a simple positional change for Amad.

How Amad could get the best from Benjamin Sesko at Manchester United
One player who has had a tough start to this season is Amad, with the Ivorian being deployed as a right wing-back first and foremost.
On the right, Amad and Mbeumo are almost too similar, which takes away from the game of both, and sees Amad on his unfavoured right foot for crosses.
This has diminished the quality of crosses being sent into Sesko, but there is a simple solution to this.
Amad has an incredible left foot, and so moving him to right wing-back could benefit Sesko with the quality of crosses sure to improve, with Patrick Dorgu struggling this season, having been asked to effectively be a winger instead of a full-back.
The system is faltering because Dorgu is on the ball too often in the final third, so changing him for Amad would be a net positive.
Amad could be devastating on the left and rack up countless assists, which currently is not happening on the right.
Who replaces Amad on the right?
So if Amad moves to the left, United should have a lot more balance. It would see Amad staying wide, and Cunha inside, but on the right, who would bring the best from Mbeumo.
Amad always wants to cut inside onto his left foot when he is on the right, which means a right-footed player would be far better to partner Mbeumo.
There is no ideal choice in the ranks at the moment, but Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui would both offer width and natural right-footed crosses from that side.
Elsewhere, perhaps Jaydan Kamason would offer the attacking output United needs with a natural right foot for crossing into Sesko.
Sesko is 6ft 5in and has the leap of an NBA player, meaning good crosses will inevitably lead to goals. This move could see Amad as the catalyst for Sesko stepping up.
