The final international break of 2025 is over, and Ruben Amorim will be extremely happy at what he’s seen from most of his players, with the odd disappointment.
The next international break isn’t until March next year, so the players for whom international football was a “safe haven” have to dig it out at Man Utd.
For others, like Bryan Mbeumo, there’s AFCON, but after missing out on the World Cup, they’ll be glad to return to Old Trafford.
Here’s how every Man Utd player [excluding players on loan] who played for his country in the November international break fared-

Man Utd player ratings – November international break
Diogo Dalot – 5
Dalot played in one of the two Portugal games in the break, and unfortunately, it was the 2-0 loss to Ireland where they imploded without Bruno Fernandes.
The Man Utd full-back caught a lot of flak for his flat attacking game, and a lack of standout moments made it a forgettable outing for him.
Bruno Fernandes – 10
You need to have a generational game to get 10/10 despite playing just one game, but generational is what Bruno Fernandes managed.
The Man Utd captain scored a hat-trick in a thumping 9-1 win against Armenia, and somehow, even that didn’t do justice to the sheer magic he produced.
Are you excited for World Cup 2026 in the USA?
The position he did it in leaves a tricky question for Ruben Amorim, but it was nonetheless a firm reminder of his talents.
Patrick Dorgu – 7.5
Dorgu shone against Belarus and scored against Scotland, but his Denmark side lost to Scotland and missed the chance to qualify directly for the World Cup.
Matthijs de Ligt – 7
De Ligt ended his international exile with a fine performance in the 4-0 win against Lithuania. He cemented his brilliant start to the season with more of the same, and the World Cup is squarely in his sights now.
Casemiro – 8
Scoring a goal in a win and being called the most important player in the team is quite a good international break, which was the case with Casemiro.
He started both games, scoring in the win against Senegal before creating the most chances in the 1-1 draw against Tunisia.
Matheus Cunha – 7
Cunha impressed without scoring against Senegal, and Ruben Amorim will be happy that he only played 45 minutes against Tunisia because he’ll be needed as a striker against Everton.

Senne Lammens – 7
Lammens made his international debut for Belgium in a confidence-inducing 7-0 win against Liechtenstein. Hopefully, it’s the first of many caps for him.
Bryan Mbeumo – 5
The international break was a time of ignominy for Mbeumo as his Cameroon side missed out on World Cup qualification. There were no heroics from the Man Utd attacker. It’s a boost for Utd, but a blow for Mbeumo.
Amad – 5
Amad played 74 minutes in a 1-0 loss away to Saudi Arabia to kick off his break in poor fashion. He didn’t play in the win against Oman, which will delight Amorim.
Noussair Mazraoui – 8
Mazraoui returned to Morocco duty in fine form, assisting Ounahi’s winner to ensure his team started the break with a 1-0 win over Mozambique.
He then unlocked another level with a creative masterclass against Uganda in the 4-0 win to end a brilliant international break.
James Scanlon – 7
Scanlon was on a mission to do the impossible with minnows Gibraltar, but he emerged with his reputation enhanced.
He assisted the only goal Gibraltar scored in two games, and looked a level above his teammates.
