Manchester United are believed to be in the market for a winger this summer, and now one of the most exciting targets possible is available.
This season the right wing at Old Trafford has become a real problem position, with various options in the position mostly floundering.
£85m man Antony has been a disaster, Amad Diallo doesn’t look the right level, Facundo Pellistri doesn’t seem to be in Erik ten Hag‘s plans and Jadon Sancho is practically out the door already.
The one player to perform well in this role all campaign is Alejandro Garnacho, but the 19-year-old Argentine is more natural on the left and probably belongs there long-term.
Because of all this, Manchester United seem to have made it a priority this summer to strengthen on the right, as Michael Olise emerges as a top target.
But there’s now a massive opportunity to sign 18-year-old wonderkid Roony Bardghji and United need to take it.

Roony Bardghji could now be available this summer for Manchester United
At just 18, Bardghji is among the finest youngsters in Europe and United saw first-hand just how good he is earlier this season when he scored the winner in a 4-3 loss.
Now, despite being Copenhagen’s star man, he looks likely to be sold this summer as the club looks to avoid losing him for free in 2025.
This is according to Fabrizio Romano who states the wonderkid has ‘no intention’ of signing a new contract with Copenhagen.
This has led to the talent playing zero minutes in the opening games of 2024, which is detrimental to the club given he was their top scorer with 10 goals before 2024 came around.
During the current season, he’s made himself a real star as he looks to make good on his goal of becoming the world’s best player, with his 10 goals and regularly featuring in the starting line-up.
He’s been tipped for greatness by United legend Rio Ferdinand recently as the defender raved about Bardghji earlier in February.
He said on TNT Sport: “Whenever I’ve seen him, he comes on, he looks like he should be there. He wants to be there; he’s got the ability. I think he’s going to be a name we’re going to hear more about.”
Manchester United can upgrade on Antony for a fraction of the price with Bardghji
Antony’s career at Manchester United seems to be coming to an embarrassing end right now as he shows no signs of being worth his massive price tag.
Aside from this, Ten Hag has lost patience and despite a start in the cup, he’s barely featured lately.
In Bardghji therefore, United have the opportunity to upgrade on Antony while spending probably a quarter of the price at most.
This would bolster the options on the wing and allow the club to shift on a few of the below-par options currently at the club.
An excellent move which could prove very smart from Sir Jim Ratcliffe and co.
