This summer is huge for several of the very best Manchester United academy talents around, with Ruben Amorim having big decisions to make.
Pre-season offers numerous talents massive opportunities to play their way into the plans of Ruben Amorim next season.
At Manchester United, Amorim has already shown a willingness to play the youth, handing out three academy debuts in his maiden half season at the helm.
This number is expected to grow as the first team settles and improves.
So with this in mind, there is one talent who must be given the opportunity to impress Amorim, with 2024-25 proving he is far too good for the academy.

Jack Fletcher has a huge pre-season coming up for Manchester United
Jack Fletcher had a brilliant 2024-25, proving himself far too good for the academy early on.
The son of potential new U18 manager Darren Fletcher stepped up to U21 football last season seamlessly, dominating against senior opponents such as Barnsley.
Despite this, Fletcher ended up becoming a forgotten man in the academy with others being heralded ahead of him. This showed in the post season tour as Fletcher was excluded, while his twin brother travelled to Asia and impressed.
So with United returning for pre-season on Monday, the next few weeks for the teenager are huge and he will know there is opportunity to make himself undeniable for Amorim, earning senior minutes.
He will hope to earn a place on tour, and show he can play a part for United with depth in the number 10 positions set to be weak considering the exits United are planning this summer.
Fletcher is too good for academy football
No matter what happens, next season Fletcher needs to be in and around first team football with academy football no longer testing him. It has been claimed that Amorim is excited by Fletcher and that explains the decision to have him on the bench numerous times.
Since Fletcher joined United alongside his twin from Manchester City, both have impressed, however it is Jack who has at times looked ready for a debut.
So with Fletcher ready for first-team football, this summer is huge for him to either earn it at United, or Jonny Evans will have to find him the perfect loan move to help with development.
Fletcher has been labelled as ‘Cole Palmer in disguise’ and it couLd finally be time for the talent to take the step and prove why on the bigger stage.
Another season in the academy just won’t do, he needs to be challenged.
