Manchester United wonderkid Chido Obi is gaining opportunity and the biggest one yet could come his way.

A lively performance from Chido Obi for Manchester United against Fulham showed glimpses of what the 17-year-old whizkid is capable of.

Obi managed to get into scoring positions during his substitute performance, outplaying the performance served up by starter Rasmus Hojlund.

Now with the teenager emerging as a genuine option in Manchester United’s goal shy attack, the biggest game of his career awaits.

Chido Obi set to take on Arsenal

Manchester United’s next match is against Real Sociedad in the Europa League on Thursday March 6.

This is a game Chido Obi is ineligible for, he has not been added to United’s squad. This means he won’t be travelling to Spain.

Meanwhile both Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee will be making the trip, and likely starting the game, adding to their workload.

It makes perfect sense Chido Obi start the next Premier League game, and it is a tasty, one pitting him against his former club Arsenal.
