Manchester United saw two young players combine for a dramatic winner in extra time against Liverpool, which will be replayed again and again.
Alejandro Garnacho and Amad sprang a classic counter attacking move on Jurgen Klopp’s side, with the Ivory Coast youngster scoring the 120th minute winner.
Amad in particular should revel in his big moment. He has had a tough season, and this is the turning point his career needs.
But his late winner would not have been possible without the tireless performances of his teammates, led by captain Bruno Fernandes.

Erik ten Hag made five substitutions and his final throw of the dice was to bring on Mason Mount for Victor Lindelof.
This required a little re-shuffle, and in an unlikely turn of events, Bruno Fernandes ended up filling in at centre-back.
He was still able to show off his range of long passing from the position, and did United proud, with a committed performance.
Fernandes looked hobbled too, at one point, appearing to nurse a minor injury, yet played through it, desperate to stay involved and drive the team forward.
Across the 120 minutes, Fernandes managed to create four goalscoring chances, and attempted three shots at goal.
He had 103 touches in total, and contributed defensively with two clearances and four interceptions, winning seven duels in total.
Bruno Fernandes character shines along with quality
Nobody can forget Manchester United’s mauling at Liverpool a year ago, where Fernandes took more flak than any other player.
The 29-year-old’s quality has rarely been in doubt, but his character has frequently come under fire, with various television and radio pundits unhappy with his body language when things are going against United.
These attacks have continued to get more personal after he was made Manchester United captain at the start of the season.
Well, chalk this game up to Fernandes’ credit. Manchester United trailed twice, losing 2-1 heading into the final 10 minutes, and 3-2 in extra-time, before turning it around.
Fernandes was a key part of this, filling in late in the game where you might normally have expected Casemiro to drop deep instead.
Now, he is just two wins away from lifting another trophy at Wembley.
