“This club, for me, is really, really special,” he told TNT Sports pundit Owen Hargreaves, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“I watched all the games in the [Sir] Alex Ferguson era and wow, it was like history.”

Martinez said he wants to carve his own name into the history books and feels that Ferguson’s legendary teams of the past showed the importance of doing that.
