Manchester United have shifted their attention from the transfer window back to the pitch.
In desperate need of something to cheer about, United will be hopeful a win over Ruud van Nistelrooy’s struggling Leicester City in the FA Cup can lift the mood.
And although this week’s matchup will come too soon for one player, the Red Devils have been handed an injury boost, which has come at an important time.

Luke Shaw set for Man Utd return
Having missed the last two months, there were fears Luke Shaw wasn’t yet ready to make his long-awaited return.
Despite being rumoured to have suffered another setback on his road to recovery, it seems the 29-year-old is edging closer to playing again.
Even though he won’t be featuring in Friday night’s cup game, according to Mike McGrath, the left-back will re-join United’s first-team training from Monday.
Perfect timing
Although Shaw’s injury record makes him one of Ruben Amorim’s most unreliable players, having him available is better than not, especially following Lisandro Martinez’s recent season-ending ACL injury.
The Argentine will be sidelined for the rest of the campaign, which would allow Shaw to come straight back into a left-sided centre-back role — a position he has played multiple times throughout his career.
Shaw’s last Premier League performance for United was against Everton at the beginning of December.
Should the defender continue to progress in his recovery, he could be in line to feature against Spurs on February 16th, failing that, United’s next game after their trip to London will, coincidently, be the reverse fixture against Everton on February 22nd.
