Manchester United are into the Carabao Cup final after beating Nottingham Forest 5-0 over two legs in the semi-finals.
This will be United’s first Carabao Cup final since the twenty-time league champions beat Southampton 3-2 in 2017 when Jose Mourinho was at the helm.
The final will be held at Wembley, and it is United’s first trip to the stadium since the FA Cup semi-final in 2020.

The Carabao Cup is the first piece of silverware which is up for grabs in each campaign.
With the final taking place at the end of February, Manchester United will have the opportunity to lift their first trophy in six years and Erik ten Hag could clinch his first since being appointed in April last year.
In the other semi-final, Newcastle United beat Southampton over two legs and Eddie Howe’s side will make tough opponents.
Liverpool are the current holders of the trophy after beating Chelsea on penalties in February 2022. Jurgen Klopp side’s success ended Manchester City’s run of four successive Carabao Cup wins.
But after Pep Guardiola’s side knocked out the Anfield side in the last-16 of this year’s competition, the Citzens suffered a shock 2-0 defeat to Southampton in the quarter-finals.
The 2022-23 Carabao Cup final will take place on Sunday, February 26
The kick-off time at Wembley Stadium is yet to be confirmed but last season’s final commenced at 4.30pm.
United’s qualification for the final means the Premier League clash against Brentford, which is scheduled to take place on the same day of the final, will be rearranged due to United’s participation.
The most awkward aspect of the date is the final taking place days after Manchester United’s Europa League second leg against Barcelona at Old Trafford. It promises to be quite a week.
