Tyrell Malacia has shown little sign of slowing down as the Manchester United star continues to inch ever closer to his first-team return for the Premier League club.
The 25-year-old Manchester United left-back first arrived at Old Trafford under Erik ten Hag after he was signed from Dutch side Feyenoord in 2022.
However, Tyrell Malacia missed the entirety of the 2023-24 Premier League campaign due to a severe knee injury and required surgery on his injury.
Erik ten Hag has been left short of left-back options at United this season amid Luke Shaw and Malacia being sidelined, with Diogo Dalot plugging the hole in the position.
However, Malacia is tipped to make his sensational return in the 2024-25 campaign and the Dutch left-back was recently included in the 25-man Europa League squad.

What is Malacia doing during international break?
Tyrell Malacia was spotted back in Manchester United training in September and the former Feyenoord defender appears to be making progress with his recovery.
The United star hasn’t featured for United since the 2-1 win over Fulham at Old Trafford on the final day of the 2022-23 Premier League season.
Instagram user nasphysio shared footage of Malacia hitting the bag and moving around freely with his effortless footwork while boxing.
Footage of Malacia training with the boxing bag made the rounds on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, and United fans saw it as a welcoming sign.
Nasphysio added the message “energy” on the video and tagged Malacia’s Instagram, with the United defender focused ahead of his Red Devils comeback.
Ten Hag’s last major update on Malacia
United manager Erik ten Hag welcomed the sign that Malacia has started to overcome his long-term injury and is eager to see the “talent” back in action.
However, Ten Hag did warn that it could still take some time for the Netherlands international to fully return, despite him “progressing really well.”
“Of course, we want to motivate him to return, but it’s not so easy when you are so long away,” he said in September, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“Over a season now from an injury to return, but he’s working very hard, he’s progressing really well in this moment.
“He’s making big steps, so we think, at short notice, we can expect him in the team training, and he is a talent, it’s natural.
“I expect also, soon, he can return [to] games then.”
