Leny Yoro has been through a rollercoaster of emotions during his first few months as a Manchester United player.
Manchester United were delighted in the summer when they beat Real Madrid to the £52m signing of Leny Yoro from Lille.
The now 19-year-old defender is viewed as a hugely exciting prospect and the Frenchman has already made a bright start in Manchester this season.
However, his start didn’t exactly go to plan. Yoro suffered an injury during pre-season in the United States which ruled him out for the start of the season. Having signed under Erik ten Hag, Leny Yoro didn’t make a single appearance under the Dutchman before he was sacked in October.
Yoro was allowed to take his time during recovery so that he could settle into new surroundings. He eventually made his debut under Ruben Amorim against Arsenal.

Man United staff rave about Leny Yoro’s attitude at Carrington
There have been a few question marks over the mentality and attitude of this current United squad, with Amorim questioning Marcus Rashford’s efforts in training.
However, reports coming out of Carrington suggest that staff are delighted with Yoro and his approach to the game.
As reported by Manchester Evening News, United staff describe Yoro as “extremely laid back and mature”.
It adds that Yoro has been putting in extra work to prepare for matches. He is big on personal analysis and brushes up on his homework ahead of facing opposition forwards.
Yoro’s maturity and calmness has certainly reflected in his performances for United so far this season.
Leny Yoro’s highs and lows at Man United so far
After an exciting cameo in pre-season, Yoro’s injury was a big blow, but he bounced back brilliantly.
United fans raved about Yoro’s debut, and the young defender has continued to improve each and every match.
He starred in United’s dramatic penalty shootout win over Arsenal in the FA Cup. Yoro’s “laid back” nature was on full show as he calmly converted United’s third spot-kick.
Yoro also made an “unbelievable” tackle in United’s 2-2 draw to Liverpool earlier this month. It was a moment that fans – and Amorim – adored.
Yoro’s toughest match followed a few days later when he seriously struggled against Southampton’s Kamaldeen Sulemana. United’s young star was beaten several times by the tricky winger.
However, Amorim has kept faith in Yoro and hailed him as the “future” of Manchester United.
