Manchester United fans have dropped their two cents on Leny Yoro after the summer signing’s return against Arsenal at the Emirates on Wednesday evening.

Ruben Amorim’s men travelled to London for the Manchester United manager’s toughest test since his arrival at Old Trafford in November.

The 39-year-old Portuguese manager kicked off his reign at the Red Devils with a 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town after the end of the November international break.

Ruben Amorim took charge of his first match at Old Trafford last week and United picked up a 3-2 win over Norweigan outfit Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League.

United built on their momentum in the aftermath of the Bodo/Glimt clash and the Red Devils completed a 4-0 thrashing of Everton at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Yoro returns for Man Utd vs Arsenal

Ruben Amorim was without Lisandro Martinez for the Arsenal clash at the Emirates after the Manchester United defender was ruled out due to suspension.

The former Sporting CP manager turned to Harry Maguire in the absence of Lisandro Martinez and started the England international in the three-man backline.

Harry Maguire made his return for United in the steam-rolling of Everton on the weekend after returning from a period on the sideline due to injury.

The 31-year-old former United captain started in the central position against Arsenal, with Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui starting either side of him.

Despite a solid showing in the first half, Maguire was withdrawn in the second half and replaced by Leny Yoro for the summer signing’s Premier League debut.

Leny Yoro missed the opening months of the 2024-25 season after he was forced off in the first half in a pre-season friendly defeat against Arsenal in July.

The 19-year-old defender, who was signed from Lille in the summer, underwent surgery on a foot injury in August and has been racing to return for United.
