It is fair to say that Erik ten Hag is seemingly under pressure at Manchester United despite the season being only five days old.
The Dutch manager has received a huge amount of criticism over the start of the season with United suffering three defeats in five games.
Well, the games do not get any easier for the Red Devils with the small task of taking on Bayern Munich tonight at the Allianz Arena and the game could get ugly.
The Bundesliga champions, who have added Harry Kane to their ranks, are overwhelming favourites but it seems Ten Hag is attempting to turn the tide.

Erik ten Hag’s speech
According to talkSPORT, the former Ajax boss held a rousing team talk in the changing room following the tough-to-take defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford.
United’s first defeat at Old Trafford in the Premier League in over a year has caused murmurs of discontent among the Old Trafford faithful.
The talk from Ten Hag, after the game, reportedly received a round of applause from the United squad and the Dutchman encouraged the squad to stick together.
Ten Hag also reportedly said he felt the team isn’t as together as they were during the best periods of last season.
Can Ten Hag turn it around
The Dutch manager is perhaps under serious pressure for the first time since he became United manager last summer.
He has vowed to turn the season around, according to the report, after rumours of bust-ups in the dressing room following the defeat to Roberto De Zerbi’s side.
The Dutch manager will need to pull off a result sooner rather than later for the goodwill that he developed last season to remain.
Ten Hag will be hoping to cause a shock result in the Champions League with United not featuring in the competition since February of 2022.
