What Casemiro did at full-time against Everton absolutely oozes class

Manchester United ran out 2-0 winners against Everton in the Premier League on Saturday.

It was a job well done by Erik ten Hag‘s men. Two first-half penalties, one from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford were enough on the day.

It still wasn’t the most convincing of performances, and some first-team squad members struggled. This includes Casemiro, who didn’t have his finest day in red.

But despite his mediocre on-field performance, he did something at full-time that Manchester United fans absolutely loved and simply oozed class.

Fan footage shows class Casemiro gesture

After the game had finished at Old Trafford, fan footage shows a young lad running onto the pitch, desperate to meet the Brazilian.

He was stopped in his tracks by stewards, which led to a chorus of boos from the Stretford End. Casemiro saw this happen in front of him.

So – in response, the five-time Champions League winner took off his shirt, walked over to the kid being dragged away and gifted it to him whilst he was being escorted off.

Class from the United midfielder.

Will Casemiro be at Manchester United next season?

With Sir Jim Ratcliffe‘s summer clearout imminent, Case is definitely one of the players on the ‘unsure’ list as to whether to keep around Carrington.

His best years are evidently behind him, but on his day – he can still be a vital part of the United side. The 32-year-old is also one of the highest-paid players at the club, which is something that Ineos are trying to sort out in the coming months.

Our verdict? We love Casemiro and would like him to stay. He’s a great figure to have around and will be a great mentor for the likes of Kobbie Mainoo. Whether he does stick about, remains to be seen.
