Bruno Fernandes is excited about the arrival of Rasmus Hojlund at Manchester United and has been discussing his first impressions at the club.
The newest Dane at Old Trafford, made his first appearance last Sunday in the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal.
Despite the loss, the cameo of Hojlund has stuck in fans minds as he impressed.
The cameo even got the approval of Casemiro who was seen hyping up United‘s number 11.
Now another squad leader, namely the captain Bruno Fernandes has seemingly gave his own seal of approval.

Bruno on Hojlund
Bruno Fernandes has been speaking on Hojlund in an episode of Team Viewer diaries for the club’s channel.
Bruno began: “He [Hojlund] is someone who is always trying to speak to everyone, he is really open,” Fernandes told club media.
“He’s a kid that, from what I’ve seen, who wants to work and get in the team because he wants to be fit as soon as possible. I think he has a lot of energy, a lot of strength and hopefully a lot of goals too.”
MORE UNITED STORIES
Continuing, Bruno talked of the link he hopes to build with Hojlund and the other forwards who he hopes will be among the goals this year.
“Of course I want to build that connection with him that I have with the other strikers and wingers because I’m here to serve them so I want them to feel happy that they will get their chances, and after that it’s about them getting the goals.
“I want my strikers and wingers to score goals and I want to see their happy faces celebrating in front of the Stretford End.”
Fernandes is a strikers dream
As we all know well, for a few seasons now, Bruno has been the leagues premier creator in terms of chances created.
However due to the lack of clinical finishing, Bruno’s creative figures are largely unrepresented by assists.
This is something that he will be hoping Hojlund can begin to solve.
Hojlund showed against Arsenal he has great positioning, but will require coaching to get his finishing up to standard.
Once he does though, these two could be a scary combination.
