Manchester United have a new hero. Which is just as well, considering the Cristiano Ronaldo developments.
Alejandro Garnacho evoked memories of a young Ronaldo with his winning goal against Fulham, which suddenly feels like a long time ago already.
The Argentine’s winning goal drew plenty of reaction, with supporters delighted to have a new star to really get behind.
This was his second goal for the club, following on from two assists in midweek. And a very famous fan is highly impressed.

Usain Bolt reacts
Olympic sprint legend Usain Bolt is a Manchester United supporter and he expressed his admiration for the youngster, on Twitter.
Bolt hailed Garnacho as a ‘major talent’, commending the Argentine’s display.
Garnacho’s game is blessed with the ability to quickly accelerate away from opponents. Not quite at Usain Bolt’s speed – but quick enough to cause serious problems for defences.
The youngster is a beacon of hope Manchester United need right now, in a transitional season under Erik ten Hag which the club still hope will finish with silverware.
Garnacho played a big role in United’s Carabao Cup win in midweek, and will be called upon for the fourth round clash with Burnley next month too, potentially as a starter.
