The atmosphere around Manchester United has taken a turn for the better after consecutive wins across two competitions with the latest one against Fulham.
The 1-0 win vs Fulham wasn’t the stuff of legends by any means but the importance of it can’t be understated, considering Man Utd’s standing in the league table.
Ruben Amorim’s team further separated themselves from the relegation-threatened pack with the victory and a key feature of both victories will delight the Man Utd manager.
It is that, in both games, United had to rely on late, late interventions, attacking and defensive, to secure three points.
Man Utd fan Usain Bolt echoed Amorim’s sentiments after the win against Fulham.

Usain Bolt on Man Utd’s win against Fulham
Bolt has regularly been one of the most vocal Man Utd fans through thick and thin (thicker recently than thin!), speaking like a true fan, his identity as a sporting legend in his own right separate.
He dropped a bold United claim after the draw vs Liverpool and doubled down on his take after the win against Arsenal in the FA Cup.
Since those two marquee results, United couldn’t follow it up against “weaker” teams on paper but have started 2025 well.
Four wins in six games have ensured separation from the relegation pack and progression in the Europa League.
After the victory against Fulham, Bolt dropped a four-word message to United that Amorim would proudly smile at after reading.
He said: “Fight to the end, [Manchester United]”, adding, “True believer, never a new believer.”
Man Utd’s season can still be a success
As Bolt urged United to do, the team can still make a success of this season by fighting until the end.
The Premier League and European qualification through it is probably done and dusted but the chance to secure the ultimate European qualification- Champions League, is alive.
The Europa League provides United’s best chance of getting in through the smart route like they did in the Europa League but winning the FA Cup last season.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 10 | 23 | 8 | 9 | 6 | 34 | 31 | 3 | 33 | |

| 14 | 23 | 7 | 6 | 10 | 28 | 44 | -16 | 27 |
Amorim’s team has fared better in one-off games when the Man Utd manager has time to get a game plan going and the players are driven to execute it.
Perhaps Usain Bolt will have a lot more to celebrate in the future!
