Manchester United loanee Di’Shon Bernard produced a dominant performance in his first match under his new Hull City manager.
Following the sacking of Grant McCann, Shota Arveladze took his first game in charge in yesterday’s 2-0 win against Swansea City.
It was a great start for the former Rangers forward, winning his first clash in front of the MKM Stadium crowd.
Turkish businessman Acun Ilicali completed his £20m takeover of the Tigers earlier this month and then yielded the axe on McCann.

It was a big boost for Bernard to be named in Arveladze’s first starting line-up and his performance more than warranted him staying in the side.
The win against Swansea was Hull’s third in a row.
The 21-year-old finished the match with 50 touches and no player from either side made more tackles than Bernard (4).
The United youngster also made the most interceptions (5) on the pitch as well as making two clearances.

HullLive gave Bernard a 8/10 rating and their review of his performance read: “Terrific driving run set up the second goal. Always seemed to be in the right place at the right time, reads the game so well at times.”
The win against the Welsh side was Bernard’s nine straight Championship start and his 21st overall for the season.
Di’Shon Bernard will be hoping to retain his place in the starting line-up when Hull host Preston North End on Saturday.
