Two Manchester United players have been named in the BBC Team of the Week after the 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace.
United earned a hard fought victory at Old Trafford against a tricky Palace side, and had to hang on with 10 men after Casemiro was sent off.
It was a 13th successive home victory for Erik ten Hag’s side in all competitions, and came on a weekend where teams around them slipped up.
Arsenal and Manchester City both lost, while Newcastle drew, while down in 10th place, Liverpool lost again.

Two United stars in team of the week
Two Manchester United players were selected by Garth Crooks in his weekly team of the week column for BBC Sport.
Marcus Rashford and David de Gea were the two United stars picked out, with three Everton players, two Tottenham, two Wolves, one West Ham and one Brighton player making it in.
Crooks praised De Gea’s late save from Marc Guehi, and wrote that it was the type of save which should seal his contract renewal, which is still under discussion.
He said: “Such was the quality of the save, his team-mates were compelled to congratulate him. Recent media speculation suggests De Gea is close to signing a new contract at Old Trafford. If I were manager Erik ten Hag, I would make it my top priority.”
Marcus Rashford struck the winner and his 19th goal of the season so far. He also has eight assists.
Crooks said: “It’s very hard not to recognise Manchester United’s transformation under Ten Hag without also acknowledging Rashford’s continued goalscoring exploits under the new regime.”
He also criticised the decision to red card Casemiro, arguing that ‘eight players should have been sent off’.
The one glaring omission from Crooks’ selection was centre-back Lisandro Martinez, who was voted Manchester United’s man of the match by supporters.
United end the weekend in third place, eight points behind leaders Arsenal and three behind City.
