Pundit Joe Cole has admitted that he would love to work with Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho to help him get back on track.
Jadon Sancho has sadly been one of the main talking points throughout a disappointing start to United’s season.
The winger really needed to kick on this season, two years since joining from Borussia Dortmund for £73million.
Instead, we haven’t seen Sancho in a United shirt since August.
A public spat with Erik ten Hag following his exclusion at Arsenal in September means Sancho is out in the cold at United.
Joe Cole offers to help Jadon Sancho
No apology has been forthcoming, and that means Sancho is likely to leave United in January, whether that is on loan or permanently.
This seems like a real shame as Sancho clearly has bags of talent, but just hasn’t shown it consistently.
TNT Sports pundit and former England international Joe Cole has now told the Daily Mail that he would love to speak to Sancho and help him out.
Cole believes that Sancho is pretty much finished at United but believes he still has major talent moving forward.
Cole ‘would love’ to speak to Sancho and his representatives, believing that he can help the United winger get back on track.
The former Chelsea man added that he would rather coach a talent like Sancho than just an average player, believing that Sancho just needs some ‘nurturing and help’.
“It’s not going to work for him at Manchester United and I don’t know what his next move is, but there’s still a player in him,” said Cole. “I would love to speak to him and his people and try to help. If I was a young coach I would take Jadon Sancho and fancy I could get the best out of him.”
“Give me Sancho as a manager every day of the week, rather than a ham-and-egg player – that’s an old phrase – but a player of that quality needs a little bit of nurturing and help,” he added.

Where could Sancho end up?
We can imagine that United will be looking to loan Sancho out in January as few clubs would go for a permanent move right now.
The Mirror did suggest in October that United would like to send Sancho to Saudi Arabia in January.
That hasn’t really moved forward yet and neither has a potential return to former club Dortmund.
Sancho should attract plenty of interest as we get closer to the January window, and Ten Hag will really want a deal done.
Seeing Sancho sit around kicking his heels isn’t good for anybody; not for Sancho, not for Ten Hag and not for the winger’s market value.
This simply has to be resolved in January and maybe Sancho will give Cole a call to see if he has any pearls of wisdom for his future.
