Arsenal icon Thierry Henry has admitted that two Manchester United legends under Sir Alex Ferguson would become the “complete” package when they played alongside one another.
Thierry Henry had a sensational impact in England and is widely regarded as one of the best Premier League players of all time after his legacy at Arsenal.
The 47-year-old Frenchman was a key player for legendary former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who shared an iconic rivalry with Sir Alex Ferguson.
During his first spell in the Premier League, Henry lifted two Premier League titles and two FA Cups amid Arsenal and Manchester United’s fierce rivalry.
The former Arsenal striker would leave the Gunners in 2007 and would sign for Barcelona, but Henry had a brief second spell at the Emirates in 2012.

Henry on two Man Utd legends
Thierry Henry was all too familiar with the star-studded roster of Manchester United players that Sir Alex Ferguson had during his legendary managerial spell.
Ferguson is widely regarded as one of the best managers of all time and enjoyed incredible silverware success during his time in the Old Trafford dugout.
The 82-year-old lifted 13 Premier League titles during his time at the Red Devils, including leading United to their last league trophy in the 2012-13 season.
Speaking on the Shoot for Love YouTube channel, Thierry Henry picked out Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic from a line-up of legendary former players.
The Arsenal legend praised the remarkable partnership that both Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand shared in the heart of defence during their time at United.
“Looking at this team, you’re like oh, Rio, [a] different animal than when you play Vidic, but both together they were complete,” he said.
“I kind of played a year, I think, against them and then I left.”
Vidic and Ferdinand at Man Utd
Ferguson brought Rio Ferdinand to Old Trafford in 2002 after he was signed from Leeds United, while Nemanja Vidic arrived at United from Spartak Moscow in 2006.
Both Ferdinand and Vidic would forge one of the best centre-back partnerships in Premier League history, with the pair hoovering up the silverware at United.
Vidic previously claimed that his partnership with fellow United legend Ferdinand only became better due to their relationship off the field.
“I think we got [on] well off the pitch as well, so I think that helps,” Vidic told Stadium Astro in 2019.
“Rio was quite open when I came [from Spartak Moscow in 2006]. He helped me not just in the club, outside as well, to settle in the town. We’d built with every training. We actually communicated during training even.
“A lot of times, even when [United coach] Rene [Meulensteen] was explaining the next exercises, you could see me and Rio talking about something. All the players are saying: ‘Shut up you two, you’re talking all the time!’
“What we did actually, we were talking about situations that happened, probably in the last match or during training.”
